Original tv camera and videotape equipment was recently displayed at the reunion of community tv group Turtle Video/Westcom - The night was a huge success, with the original working vidicon proving popular as guests looked on in awe, as they saw themselves on the screen in B&W through the eyes of the technology they had known so well 37 years earlier.
